Since 1987 we have done our best to provide racers with quality instruments at reasonable prices. We listen to our customers, and design weatherstations and software with their needs in mind. Because of our commitment to meeting the needs of our customers, all Altalab weatherstations have a 3 year warranty. At our discretion we will repair or replace any weatherstation or component that does not function as it should.

Fine Print: There are some exceptions; pagers and AC2 remote sensor cables have a 1 year warranty. Customers pay shipping on all repairs whether in warranty or not.

Calibrations are free for the original owner forever. During the 3 year warranty a complete checkup is also performed for no charge except shipping.

AC2 Clock Battery Replacement should be done every 5 years. Cost is $55 plus shipping, or free if included in a complete checkup ($175). Batteries older than 8 years may leak.

After the warranty, and for racers who purchased a used weatherstation, a complete checkup and service is $175 plus shipping, and includes battery replacement  (AC2).

Non-warranty repairs are $90 per hour plus parts and shipping.

If you are considering purchasing a secondhand weatherstation we recommend sending it in for a complete checkup. We can advise you on any repairs needed or upgrades available. Many of our weatherstations are in excellent working order 13 or more years after original purchase.
